Job description / Role
Financial Controller – Kuwait
The Financial Controller will report to the General Manager and will head the Finance will be responsible for:
• Adequate P&L management, cash flow management and reporting as it relates to the Business' key projects
• Overseeing the financial accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and reporting functions, project cost controlling and collections.
• Provide support to the Regional Finance Director, lead the development of SAP Finance
• Assure a complete and smooth transfer of the Accounting duties to the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) located in Dubai
• Financial impacts are considered within project decision making process
• On cost delivery and support and on time delivery of all key project milestones
• Project risks, opportunities & financial exposure is adequately managed
• Ensure all company assets are monitored, accurately accounted for and maintain necessary assets records/registers, ensure periodic physical verification as per company policies and procedures
Requirements
To be successfully considered for this role you should:
• Be an Arabic speaker
• CPA/CA/CMA/CFM or equivalent is preferred
• Strong skills to analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, statements and long term and short term budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
