Financial Controller

Job description / Role

My client is a international engineering consultancy who are currently working in joint venture with the public works authority. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced financial controller who will be responsible for the financial reporting, financial processes and commercial support for a large joint venture of 150 staff. The role will include

- Responsibility for financial reporting and processes.
- Revenue recognition to ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Production of management reporting pack.
- Project profitability analysis.
- Monitoring of costs
- Key performance indicators accounting.

Requirements

Candidates should have a financial degree and will preferably have some form of formal accounting training such as CIMA/ACA. Candidates should have a strong understanding of IFRA and the concepts of revenue recognition. Candidates should have very strong excel skills with a working knowledge of pivot tables/formula's and presenting financial information clearly. Candidates sill preferably be based in Qatar with an NOC available.
