Financial Officer, DIFC
On behalf of our client, an international external asset manager providing various services to their clients, Swisslinx Middle East is actively looking for a Financial Officer based in their office in the DIFC, Dubai.
Our client has offices worldwide and are a top reputable firm with an international team.
In this role, you will be the sole finance person, reporting directly to the Managing Director. Your role will include but not be limited to:
Managing the internal accounting of the office
Handling all employee and office expenditures, petty cash, and banking transactions
Preparation of various financial reports, including monthly group reporting
Invoicing clients, maintain accurate records
Providing international accounting services on behalf of clients, including analysing fiscal data, financial data, preparing financial reports
Requirements
In this role, you will also have client contact, so fluent and polished communication skills (verbally and in writing) are important!
The right candidate will have the following skills:
3+ years experience in International Accounting
Solid knowledge of international accounting standards
Experience within financial reporting for Cayman Islands or BVI, a huge advantage
Impeccable English, Western education degree preferred
Based in the GCC (or previous experience here)
