Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for consolidating and reporting the MENA Regions financial statements, providing accurate, timely and complete information to the line manager and ensuring that financial statements are in compliance with IFRS.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze the Financial Reports of the group
- Review and consolidate monthly balance sheets submitted by offices
- Review and analyze the budget each entity.
- Review monthly group receivables and payables reports and follow up on pending balances
- Support offices in month end and year end closing
- Assist in the coordination of annual audits with external auditors and review audit reports for all entities
- Review monthly reconciliations of inter-company accounts and eliminate reconciling items
- Follow up on reporting tool implementation
- Communicate and explain accounting issues/policies and evolving accounting guidance to the Finance Managers
- Assist local finance managers in resolving accounting issues and problems
- Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
- Deliver Ad hoc reports / analysis upon request
- Propose improvements to Regional Financial Controller in all reporting aspects (new applications, tools and enhanced templates)
- Follow up on any delayed deliverable by the offices.
- Manage and Monitor the work of the reporting team.
- Coach subordinates in all offices in order to build talents and improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance (qualification, CPA/CA/ACCA preferred)
- IFRS & US GAAP knowledge and experience
- 5+ years audit and finance experience
- IT systems literate (financial and consolidation systems)
- Fluent in English, French, and Arabic
- Executive level communication skills to facilitate interaction with Region Senior Management
- Team player
