Financial Risk Manager – Derivatives

On behalf of our client, a European financial institution based in the DIFC, Swisslinx is currently seeking a Financial Risk Manager (derivatives) to join their existing offices in Dubai.

Our client is a well-established and leading financial institution with its head office in Europe. To join an existing team in Dubai, our client is looking for a Risk Manager to become integral part of the team. Reporting into the local management and the head-office, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, maintaining and respecting set risk limits and parameters, pricing, trading and risk monitoring systems, and meeting budget targets (P&L).

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

• University degree in finance, economics, physics, or mathematics with finance degree / MBA
• 1-3 Years’ experience in in risk management with a focus on derivatives
• Excellent IT skills, proven usage of Excel and VBA programming
• Familiar with Risk Management Systems of advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English. French or German language skills of advantage.
