The RoleThe RoleOur client is a large nationwide group with t/o in excess of $2bn US. Key Driver Roles in: Financing; hedging; insurance; risk management; product development & underwriting support; financial reporting, internal control, policies / procedures; consolidations. All attendant analysis; internal & external auditor liaison; insurance; legal & special projects such as potential M & A & JVs, business spin offs, reorganizations, shared services set-up. |
RequirementsRequirementsBachelors degree in Accounting/Finance and a Professional Accounting qualification i.e. ACCA, CA, CMA, CPA. Experience required: 15 years or more Financing Sector experience with focus on Financing Companies with large operating lease portfolios targeted at retail and commercial auto / truck markets •Should include at least eight years or more at Managerial level (CFO, FD or Group Controller level - department, business unit; division; subsidiary; company; etc.) in an extensive multi-site environment within a relevant organization related to the sectors indicated above. (Finance Company; relevant financing arm of a large industrial; relevant financing arm of a Bank; etc.). Should have worked both at unit level in the field as well at corporate level •Experience with developing products in the above mentioned portfolios as well as in related underwriting and collection, operations policies / procedures. Also experience with organizational structures, approval matrices and controls required, relevant ERP systems •Arabic speaker ideal but not mandatory. However, significant, relevant Middle East experience would be very useful. Would only consider candidates with no Middle East experience if they more than met all other requirements. •Must have worked for several organizations in more than one country. Organizations should include at least one well-structured organized as well as some fast growing companies. |
