Job description / Role
Job Purpose:
* Create, modify, document and enhance data specifications including identifying and mapping data elements from source system into the dimensional data warehouse.
*Assisting in HFM and Hyperion Planning solutions across the group for accurate consolidation of financial and management reporting and budget reporting.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Create, modify, document and enhance data specifications including identifying and mapping data elements from source systems into the dimensional data warehouse.
2. Translate requirements into technical specifications, validate that the data warehouse meets specified requirements.
3. Work with all group entities so that a single version of business terminology is maintained within the existing reporting architecture.
4. Understand and balance business requirements and user expectations.
5. Regular data quality checks and cleansing to avoid duplications, abnormalities and integrity issues.
6. Liaising with the source system and the group entities to understand and resolve any reporting issues.
7. Develop and maintain FDM locations, FDM import formats, FDM mappings, HFM Web Forms and Smart View (excel) Reports.
8. Work closely with all the users in resolving issues related to data loads, data reconciliation reports and analysis in smartview and support Group Finance team for smooth financial consolidation to produce accurate statutory financial reports in compliance with IFRS.
9. Participate in the testing and implementation of Hyperion Planning application.
10. Assist in development of Hyperion Planning web forms, reports and outline design.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with sound accounting & IFRS knowledge
- 3 years of post qualification accounting experience up to finalization and consolidation of multiple entities compliance with IFRS along with HFM and Hyperion Planning implementation experience.
