We are currently a Planner (Finishing / Fit Out Works) for a planning team working with Saudi Aramco on their Ithra Cultural Centre project.

Reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to work within a team working with a key client on an architecturally stunning and icon building design, through to completion.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling
Working collaboratively within a team of project planners
Manage logic networks based on critical path (P6)
Assist in the development and preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports to the client
Assist in the updating of the Baseline Schedule, including executive summary report preparation
Identify bottleneck areas and alerting management as well as develop solutions
Coordinate and interface with client daily
Assist in the development of project snap shots as required by the client
Attend meetings as necessary with the client and owner and provide information to team members regarding new direction or updated information
Developing the appropriate systems and procedures to deliver services to client
Take full responsibility for ensuring all allocated deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion
Interface with the relevant Design Team members to ensure issuance of designs meet the planned schedule
Interface with the relevant clients project managers on a daily basis

Requirements

Requirements:

You will be a recognized expert with a minimum of up to 10 years experience in a similar role at a senior level (ideally with iconic building experience)
You will have a background and/or experience in Contractors Planning with an intimate knowledge of how contractors build things the current project is significantly in delay and the Client needs to understand what has gone wrong and solutions on how to fix these problems
You have considerable Planning experience showing clear career progression in the planning field through working either client side or for a consultancy.
Successful applicants will have experience of working on high value, high rise and other building projects
Knowledge in the use of Primavera (P3/P5/P6) and MS Project is also essential
Strong verbal and written communication skills is essential
Experience as a Project Manager as well as a Planner
Experience in identifying delays and preparing impact or time extension analysis reports
The Planner will be responsible for all aspects of the Finishing / Fit Out building construction Works
