Job description / Role
Female Fitness Director who has extensive experience in setting up a Gym Facility and implementing training programmes.
The role is to set up a market leader Gym facility in Muscat from grass root levels, working closely with PREMEDION CEO.
- Prefer Nationality: British, Irish, Scandinavian, German, Western European
A well presented health conscious individual with a strong desire to drive and be an Ambassador for the Brand
- Lead to be a market leader with nutritional and physiotherapy educational background is required/desirable or a certificate in Health and fitness or similar
- Managing both the set up of the Muscat Facility and upgrading/ redesigning the Gym facility in regards to training , redesigning of fitness programme and advising of current fitness and gym trends and health and safety.
- Sound awareness of competitor trends and market awareness
- Experience in setting up a Gym facility would be desirable or have a sound understanding of managing a fitness and health facility/ gym or manage multiple gyms/ fitness centers
- Sound understanding of managing a gym facilities, gym programmes, health and nutrition and physiotherapy programmes for all cultural age groups, ethnicities, disabilities and sexual orientation, male and female
- Experience of implementing strategies from concept through to inception
- Experience of designing health & fitness programmes and implementing them into the gym
- Overseas the full credibility of the gym, smooth running of the gym, performance and training of subordinates, health and safety of the gym for both staff & clients by setting best practice policies and procedures.
- Experience of recruiting and identifying high caliber employees who will represent the brand name with a passion and drive for providing the best Health and Fitness programme for its clients in addition to providing the best customer care service with empathy.
- Problem solver who can think outside the box with a creative flare for new ideas a can do attitude to maintain a healthy and happy environment for both its employees and clients
- Be able to design bespoke programmes for clients needs, identifying their busy life/work schedule vs nutrition diet and fitness well being.
- Be able to design gym programmes, out door fitness regimes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education / Degree / High School
Certification in:
* NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicines)
* ACE (American Council on Exercise)
* NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Academy)
* ACSM (American College of Sports Medicines)
* AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America)
* Less MILLS Training, TRX Suspension Training, Aerobics, Yoga, Pilates, V-Box, Kinesiology, Power Plate, V-Core & Stability Training, Circuit Training, Cross Fit, Kettle bells, Boot Camp Training, Cardiovascular Training, Flexibility Training
