The RoleThe Role Fleet Utilization: o Focuses on efforts to optimize fleet utilization across Middle East Depots o Works with the Middle East MD and Regional Management team on fleet allocation and planning for depot demand o Facilitates a high level of visibility of fleet status - generators, TC, Load bank, and ancillary equipment; utilization by set size, excessive under repair, equipment under inspection beyond 48 hour turnaround, avoidable third party rehires etc. All with a view to promoting capital productivity and returns from fleet investments o Flags underperformance of assets and potential for transfer to other areas with higher demand Fleet movements: o Ensures that fleet and ancillaries are imported and exported to relevant depot locations within the demand timeframe and within budgetary control o Ensure logistics team and area management communicate effectively and plan fleet movements in an efficient manner ensuring client expectations are met o Ensure that payment of customs duties across the region is reduced to minimal levels and o Ensure all customs duty payment information is recorded and information maintained including Bayan documents and statistical declaration information o Ensure fleet administration assistants follow BOP and AME QHSE procedures o Ensure fleet administration staff work efficiently with AME management staff deliver on commitments within budget o Reconcile new fleet additions with FAR and carry out regular fleet verifications and sense checks Capex: o Is involved in the strategic plan/pre-budget process to determine the appropriate level of investment in each AME business unit size, category and timing o Input into the fleet review, budget and tranche approval processes o Coordinating with Engineering/Technical/Purchasing on ordering of approved fleet/plant & equipment capex items o Liaises with Manufacturing in getting clarity on potential build volumes and timing o Liaises with key external suppliers on build progress and delivery o Considers demand and utilization performance and recommends priority of allocation of new build to AI units o Reviews position on commitments and delivery status of approved capex spend working with the AI Business Analyst Movex fleet reporting: o Functions as the central resource to coordinate efforts to optimize functioning and reporting from Movex fleet module across AME depots o Liaises with Area Movex coordinators to ensure data is input in a timely and correct manner o Ensures that issues highlighted by periodic Movex reports are explained. o Highlight operator issues and procedure non compliance from depot admin employees o Roll out Movex fleet training as and when required for new starters, refresher training and super-user training o Is involved in fleet and tools verification exercises and ensures consistency of data in Movex, FA registers and SIMS o Issue required movex data to Finance dept for monthly reporting purposes o Submit monthly movement, utilization, courier cost and re-hire report to MD Middle East at the close of each month end. |
RequirementsRequirements Is knowledgeable on the full spectrum of Aggreko fleet items Understands Aggreko depot structure and processes Able to work to aggressive targets and very tight deadlines Good at building relations across functions and areas Is a self starter who can manage without direct supervision Must be customer service driven and posses a 24/7 attitude Strong system skills and good knowledge of Movex Must be able to communicate with Depot/Area managers, make decisions and allocate fleet. Able to lead and manage a small team Good oral and written communication skills Understand logistical procedures within AME geography Driving licence essential |
