The RoleThe RoleManage the Group Fleet financial and operating performance requirements to deliver optimum quality, performance and cost effectiveness. Produce monthly performance packs on a group wide and segregated basis highlighting trends, risks and improvement strategies. Plan and organize monthly KPI reporting in line with BU’s reporting requirements to ensure effective fleet utilization and asset inventory control. Monitor and report for all aspects of fleet the financial and operational total cost of ownership by BU. Develop, implement and monitor operational reporting models, concepts and procedures to examine worldwide benchmarking, compliance and profitable operations as required. Liaise with Maintenance/Fleet managers on infrastructure KPI’s required to maintain and establish efficient operations. Improve the accounting and reporting systems in the regions and the HQ as required. Develops, consolidates and monitors a Group Fleet Profit and Loss Account. To be responsible and accountable for collating and investigating the financial and operational performance covering all aspects of the Group Fleet total cost of ownership, including leasing versus outright purchase, maintenance, fuel, incident reporting, non compliance with corporate policy and procedure, fleet utilisation rates Developing a model to understand vehicle whole life costs through estabilshment of a worldwide matrix structure for internal use and ease of decision making. To use existing data on a wide range of different financial and operational areas and turn this into information that will be used to improve financial and operational strategies and staff accountability. To develop fleet management KPI’s, develop monthly management reporting requirements and trend analysis and use this information to recommend cost saving and business process improvement initiatives to be presented to senior management and General managers, in a structured report. Analyzes the business processes, procedures, policies and requirements; and provides recommendations for improving business by evaluating the data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys and workshops. Give recommendations to improve fleet efficiencies and make maximum profit. Identifies areas of inefficiency in the existing systems and analyzes business requirements and suggests processes for integration with technology and ways to increase productivity. Prepares requirements documents and estimate of cost and effort involved in business change Ensures data integrity, providing data quality and validation preparing test scripts and executing test scripts and creating business models, process models, data models and workflow models. Develop and drive tracking mechanics to tightly monitor regional business performance Partner with finance teams to ensure smooth running of the operational elements of the business. Work with teams to drive forecasting accuracy across all product categories. Perform other duties as requested by the Group Fleet Manager. |
RequirementsRequirements5-7 years experience preferably gained within similar or a large FMCG operations environment Practical and applied knowledge of, but not limited to: knowledge of trend analysis, whole life costs, route cause analysis Proven experience with Business and Technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification and methodology development Work experience in remote and challenging locations ACCA Accountancy background desirable |
