Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Coordinate LNG Ship movements to ensure ships meet contractual requirements for export of LNG.

Monitor Vessel movements and provide timely information to relevant parties to ensure smooth operations

Produce and communicate voyage instructions in a timely manner to ships, ensuring lifting programs are conducted in the most economical fashion.

Issue Annual Bunkering plan and coordinate bunkering for the LNG ships to efficiently complete their voyages.

Perform voyage analysis for the LNG fleet to ensure vessel operations are in accordance with Time Charter Party requirements.

Coordinate pilot boarding time for LNG, product and Sulfur vessels and negotiate/decide on schedules with concerned parties.

Requirements

Marine related degree with relevant experience or Class 1 deck or Engineering Certificate of Competency

6 years+ experience of shipping within an integral shipping/Oil & Gas company.

Ideally should have sailed as an experienced Senior Deck or Engineering Officer.

Must have previous experience and understanding of ship operations and preferably in LNG or LPG operations.

Training and knowledge of emergency response procedures, ship vetting, quality ship operating procedure is essential.

Experience of working with multinational personnel

Very good written and spoken English.
