Job description / Role
A Fleet Coordinator is required to take responsibility for the smooth running of both Press and Office cars for a luxury automotive manufacturer. Applicants must be fully experienced in UAE policies and procedures relating to vehicles, have experience as a driver for VIPs and own a full valid UAE driving licence.
The Responsibilities
• Salik registrations and checking balances
• Checking and maintenance of driving licenses for anyone driving vehicles
• Appraisal of all vehicles when returned/de-fleeted
• Pick up of new and de-fleeting of old vehicles
• Registration of vehicles/ re-registrations
• Booking of services for vehicles when required (Press). Drop off and collection of vehicles to and from ATM
• Checking and management of police/ traffic fines - log sheet produced and given to finance team and including photos and notification of party involved (RO/ Press)
• Checking of vehicles for damage/ maintenance of press fleet ( Press)
• Setting up of press vehicles - ensure they are returned to default settings when given to next journalist
• Completion of all the forms for press when required
• Drop off and pick up of press vehicles inc VIP drop offs
• De-fleeting of vehicles (RO/ Press)
• Work closely with WS on management of press fleet. Inform the WS team if a car is in service or unavailable or with a VIP etc.
• Build relationships
• Management of finances/ expenses for press fleet
• Management of all vehicle admin and logs on the server/ w drive
• Greater accountability and responsibility for all press cars, VIP management.
Requirements
• Experience in driving VIPs
• Managing fleet cars
• Variety of administrational tasks – registration, salik etc
• Positive proactive and friendly disposition
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent communication skills.
