Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

ROLE:

- Manage day to day transport and fuel operations.
- To oversee the salary and overtime structure of the drivers and amend the policy in the best interest of the company.
- To review and develop business processes which are inline with transport industrys best practices.
- Will be responsible for assigning vehicles to company projects.
- Will be responsible for cost analysis and subsequent reduction for overall fleet.
- Provide assistance in policymaking relating to transport operations of the company.
- Effectively manage company drivers, vehicles and fuel checks.
- Will be responsible for dispatching, routing and tracking of delivery vehicles in Dubai and other Emirates.
- To ensure compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures.
- To make sure all transport vehicles are maintained, properly serviced and operational.
- To manage and develop a team of transport operatives and drivers.
?Will be the first point of contact for all transport related enquiries and operations.
- To liaise with external suppliers for the hire of vehicles in case of need & follow up with them on invoicing, debits and credits accordingly.
- To prepare financial, operational and administrative reports of transport department on the month end.
- Will be responsible for compliance of health and safety policies.
- Will be responsible of creating a safe, secure, result oriented and positive working environment for the entire ream.
- Will be responsible for arranging stand by drivers and vehicles to cover absence and to meet the needs of projects.
- To resolve and manage queries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
- To appraised subordinate staff members and also take disciplinary measures when required.

Requirements

Salary: AED 12K + benefits
Incumbent must be based in UAE

- To increase the productivity in the overall transport operations.
- To maximize the utilization of company resources in minimal budget.
- To engineer/re-engineer business process(s) for smooth transport operations.
- To retain/bring best talent in the department on agreed criteria.
- To formulate new and/or modify existing transport policy should the need arise.

Education Required:
- Bachelors Degree
- Project Management Certificate
- Safety awareness Certificate
- Fire Fighting Certificate
