The Role


The Role

Duties Include but not limited to :

1- Manage day to day delivery operations
2- Tailor & negotiate contracts with delivery trucks & truckers suppliers
3- Responsible for maintaining fleet readiness and availability at all times for delivery operations
4- Responsible for organizing , controlling & planning delivery fleet operations
5- Responsible for training delivery staff on company policies and procedures
6- Responsible for maintaining smooth delivery operations according to work load requirements
7- Responsible for preparing regular and periodic reporting on fleet , drivers, and delivery operations
8- Perform regular checks on fleet and delivery drivers operational status and well being as well as cleanliness of trucks and personal hygiene of drivers
9- Responsible for checking and making sure that on loading and offloading of delivery trucks are performed as per standard business procedures
10- Maintain flexible yet standard professional functional relationship with other divisions teams such as warehouses , finance & accounting, as well as sales teams
11- Perform visits to branches in the western region as and when needed to maintain professional delivery services standards and fleet readiness at all times

Requirements


Requirements

Best candidates require :

- Bachelor's Degree from a reputed university

- Proven track of at least 3-6 years experience in the FMCG Logistics Operations on a managerial or supervisory role

- Ability to lead and motivate subordinates

- Experience with ERP systems – GP experience is a plus

- Transferable Saudi Sponsorship
