Job description / Role
Fleet Supervisor Dubai, UAE
POSITION PURPOSE:
To be responsible for the efficient and effective control of all Move One vehicles in the UAE, including maintenance, replacement, repair and location.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS TASKS:
- Investigate and source providers of maintenance, repair and replacement of parts and vehicles.
- Ensure due diligence and quoting procedures are met in order to verify receipt of goods and services against contract/purchase order and invoice information.
- Conduct basic vehicle checks to ensure that tires/parts/oil changes are warranted.
- Check parts, tires etc. are actually replaced with new and genuine items.
- Schedule service and repair programmes.
- Liaise with internal customers.
- Ensure security and maintenance of vehicles when not in use or when parked in locations other than Move One premises.
- Ensure truck rotation in low season.
- Source additional vehicles for busy season liaising with operations department.
- Conduct checks on these vehicles to ensure safety and conformity to contact/purchase order.
- Design and conduct vehicle checklist.
- Oversee proper use of fuel cards and report anomalies/recommendations.
- Check fuel logs and investigate anomalies.
- Monitor salik charges, report excessive use.
- Report, source and replace vehicle branding.
- Ensure all Move One and outsourced drivers are qualified and insured to drive sepcific vehicles.
- Advise all drivers on UAE driving restrictions update when required.
- Liaise with RTA with regard to traffic violation fines and be able to resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain accident/injury record. Conduct safe driving checks.
- Utilization report and analysis.
- Train and check drivers.
Requirements
- Heavy duty driving license (7 ton) min 5 years.
- 5 years experience in a similar role 3 in UAE.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent English - additional languages preferred (Arabic)
- Ability to investigate and report findings.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and be a team player.

- Maintain a valid UAE driving license and safe driving record.
