Job description / Role
• Product formulation for wet food based categories; all kinds of dairy products (Flavored milks, Fermented milks and dairy products, different kinds of cheese, cheese spreads, Juice and beverages.
• Lead and manage pilot plant trials
• Operation of laboratory testing; sensory, physical, chemical and microbiological.
• Assist marketing functions to expand markets for existing and new products.
• In conjunction with manufacturing management, develop and optimize existing processes
• Provide assistance as requested in the investigation of customer complaints
• Development of all new specifications of raw ingredients
• Develop and manage center’s budget and resources
• Promote, support and adhere to all safety and quality related policies and procedures
Requirements
• Advanced degree in dairy/food technology
• Good understanding of hands on product formulation work.
• Sound knowledge of analytical techniques
• Leadership skills in establishing technical direction to accomplish business goals and objectives.
• Good knowledge of national and international food laws.
• Computer literate, skilled in word processing and spread sheet programs.
• Fluent in English language. Fluency in Arabic language will be an added advantage.
