Food and Beverage Buyer
Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort (AWPR)
Assisting Procurement Supervisor in processing AWPR documentation and distribute and handle the associated filing by subject, package and co-ordination with procurement.
Key Tasks and Duties:
•Mentoring and supervising purchasing personal.
•Processing PR requests and clarification.
•Reviewing requirements and SOW.
•Resourcing and research.
•Selection of Suppliers.
•Sending out RFQ’s.
•Analyzing submitted quotations.
•Negotiating with vendors for best price, delivery and ensuring the best quality.
•Processing the PO.
•Communicating with internal uses.
•Planning with internal users.
•Planning with suppliers.
•Review Budget and requests.
•End user expectation Management.
•Following up with vendors for delivery.
•Undertakes similar or related tasks as directed by the line Manager.
•Follow all AWPR EHS policies and procedures.
•Minimum : Diploma
•Preferred: Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree.
•At least 2-3 years in administration.
•An understanding of the purpose of Al Ain Wildlife Park, its mission and the outline function of each department within the organisation.
•A good knowledge of stores processes and systems.
•Advanced computer skills especially in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
•Good written and spoken English.
•Good communication skills.
