Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate and drive concrete pump, truck mixers and placing booms
- Motivate, control and discipline staff to maximize their attendance and productivity
- Control and justify levels of overtime
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
- Implement methods and procedures to safely operate concrete pumps and truck mixers
- Train or arrange for training of operators as required;
- Ensure that all pump operations and operator activities are carried out to the customers satisfaction
- Coordinate with the workshop manager to ensure minimum downtime and availability of necessary parts for scheduled repair and maintenance
- Ensure all operators carry out their routine checks and maintenance duties
- Establish all necessary ancillary equipment and services on site
- Establish required access to the construction site
- Provide on-site inspections and conduct investigations
- Attend pre-pour meetings with site engineers to agree best methods and practices to carry out a specific job
- Perform the role of Concrete Pump Operator if/when required (i.e. night pours, specialty pours)
- Schedule the annual inspection and registration with the authorities
- Provide written reports to the Production Manager that demonstrate the effectiveness of actions taken

Requirements

- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Good command in English (writing & speaking).
- Comfortable with using MS office.
- Must have a valid GCC heavy license.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, with varying start and stop times, including weekend shifts. Hours of work vary on a daily basis, and could be morning, afternoon, evening, night, weekends and during holidays. Flexibility with time is expected.
- Must have 3-5 years of Concrete Pumping experience.

Contract type: two years
Salary: Will match talent
- Bachelor's Accommodation: one bed room
- Notice Period: three months
- Leave days: as per Bahrain Law
- The package will include:
- Two years return airline tickets for the candidate only
- Use of company car, provision of mobile phone
