Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Work on engagement teams that assist in performing fraud investigations and forensic accounting engagements in addition to statutory audits.
- Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients.
- Conduct and lead internal investigations of alleged or suspected violations of criminal law and corporate policies, including theft, fraud, embezzlement, conflict of interest, collusion, kickbacks, and record falsifications.
- Gather, review, and analyze data in support of investigations.
- Conduct informational and admission seeking type interviews.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive and cohesive investigative reports and memoranda in a timely manner.
- Prepare work papers to adequately document investigations performed with supporting evidence for all forensic findings.
- Provide effective recommendations and solutions to identified issues during the investigative process; ensure business agreement, and follow-through.
- Interface with various levels of the clients' organization, including Senior Management.
- Provide concise and timely updates to Managers / Senior Managers of all assignments.
- Assist in special projects as assigned.
- Provide coaching to less experienced team members aimed at facilitating the completion of investigations and developing team members' investigation skills.

Requirements

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent like ACCA, CPA, ICAEW. Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification is strongly preferred.
- Three to five years of audit experience preferably with a Big4 accounting firm. Experience in fraud investigation and forensic accounting would be an advantage.
- Hands on experience on statutory audit and knowledge of IFRS and ISAs or knowledge of equivalent standards.
- Knowledge of Big4 audit methodology and audit software.
- Good analytical and inter-personal skills.
- Self motivated with ability to perform at a demanding pace and under pressure.
