Job description / Role
My client whom I am representing are currently looking for a Formworks and Scaffolding Designer to lead their Formworks division based in their head office in Sharjah.
All candidates can expect to carry out these daily roles and responsibilities:
- Detailed understanding of the costing and implementation of all formworks design, particularly cuplock systems
- Promote the use of the product line through a strong specification and system selling approach
- Provide technical support, jobsite supervision and troubleshooting in order to ensure products are correctly used and applied in line with our guidelines and recommendations
- Carry out site inspections and visit clients regularly across the UAE
- Responsible for ensuring all targets are achieved
- Lead a team of formworks designers and sales people
- Be prepared to learn, drive and be proactive on a daily basis
- Reporting to the General Manager
Requirements
- All candidates must have a degree qualification (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- All candidates must have at least 5+ years proven experience working with formworks and scaffolding companies
- All candidates must have at least 2-3 years experience in a managerial position
- All candidates must have relevant technical ability and knowledge
- All candidates must have excellent spoken and written English skills
- Essential for all candidates to have a UAE driver's license and good knowledge of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai
