Marketing agency looking for its Account Director

•The Account Director is the Account Services representative with responsibility for the excellence of Agency service, Client relationships, and creative product on assigned accounts. The Account Director provides strong leadership and strategic direction in the development of the highest quality product. Further, the Account Director has key involvement in the development of subordinates.

The Account Director supervises Account Supervisor and/or Account Executives/Assistants and is the key day to day contact with the Client’s Marketing team. The Account Director drives integration and collaboration.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

The Account Director has two major areas of responsibility:

Top Level Leadership/Supervision of Account Operation


•Role of trusted communications integrator is fundamental to all major responsibilities and duties

•Provides stimulus for new and creative solutions to business problems.

•Learns the Client’s business in order to partner in the development of marketing strategy/account plans.

•Initiates and leads Account Services team and motivates all Account Team members to ensure high level of professionalism.

•Monitors progress of important projects and demonstrates (self) and requires (team) consistent operational excellence

•Counsels and develops Account Supervisors/Executives/Assistants; monitors work and provides appropriate direction.

•Maintains positive, growing client relationship

•Ensures high quality of Agency marketing and advertising output.

•Keeps GAD/Managing Partner informed of account activity.

•Provides timely income forecasts and updates as deemed necessary.

•Oversees all Productions

•Reviews and monitors activity and manpower utilization on each account.
