Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Employee scheduling is in line with the needs of the hospital
- Leave is scheduled and authorized in advance
- All new employees are orientated and trained according to the guidelines and to maintain files on all staff (personal information updated continuously, performance reviews, corrective measures and all training records) where applicable
- A system of regular competency assessment implemented and performance reviews are provided and corrective action is taken
- A system of multi-skilling and mentorship is implemented Risk management of the Department is maintained
- Monitor and manage the admissions, discharges, billings, payments, bed changes and appointments processes to ensure it is done in line with Mediclinic policies and procedures .
- Patient bills audited on a regular basis.
- Discrepancies recorded and corrective action taken.
- Cost estimates prepared in coordination with Billing Office
- Outstanding bills followed up as per Mediclinic guidelines
- Revenue report generated daily and distributed accordingly
- Operational and staff related reports generated and checked on a daily /monthly basis Overtime is planned and authorized

Requirements

- Bachelors qualification in any field
- Previous experience in healthcare industry and customer relations
- Sound financial background is essential
- 2 + years customer service experience
- 3+ years experience in supervisory/management role
- Computer literacy at intermediate level and a good understanding of MS Office
- Must be fluent in English (speak, read, write). Arabic would be an advantage.
