The RoleThe RoleOur client is offering an excellent opportunity for Senior Level Functional Safety System Lead Engineers for Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Our clients primary business interests encompass a variety of capabilities, which include engineering design and supervision, construction management, industry, trading, logistics support, telecommunications and operations and maintenance. Category: Automation and Controls Description: Sr. Functional Safety Systems Lead Engineer to provide technology solutions for control, safety and information systems projects in the Refining, Oil and Gas, Chemical and process Industries. This position will help to build the business, be a technical authority and provide career development to the safety professional team. Role includes participating in all aspects of the project from Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) through Detailed Design through Start-Up and Commissioning. Projects include both grassroots and revamps. Opportunity to travel to customer locations for project implementation. |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements: - Lead Safety Automation Engineering experience in the design and implementation of process control and safety instrumented systems for refining, oil and gas, chemical and other process industry projects. - Experience working directly with SIS and / or ESD on projects. - Experience with safety systems integration with an operating company, systems vendor or engineering services provider for onshore or offshore refining, oil and gas, chemical or other energy industry projects. - Strong background in multiple systems platforms, operating systems and the interactions between systems. - Experience with systems testing, start-up and commissioning - Possess Triconex, FSC, or other Safety System Experience. - Established knowledge of PHA, LOPA and Risk Assessment Process - Working knowledge of OSHA, IEC 61511 and ISA S84 safety requirements - Certified Functional Safety Expert (CFSE) or Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) certification - Expert written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. - Professional Engineering License is an asset.
