Job description / Role
Leading Abu Dhabi-based Bank has created an opportunity within their Asset Management Group through growth. A Fund Administrator is required to assist the Fund Managers in all aspects of their daily work and to ensure efficiency across the division.
As an integral part of the Asset Management business, the Middle Office is responsible for acting as a post trade interface between the fund managers and the internal and external custodian functions. In addition, the team is responsible for the preparation of data and statistics that support the fund management function including investment and operational risk and performance numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting Fund and Portfolio Managers with all aspects of their day to day trading activities.
- Assist with portfolio and fund risk and performance analysis.
- Preparing the numeric working for the monthly fund fact sheet and client portfolio review presentations.
- Coordinate with all departments within the firm and externally in relation to the portfolio management/fund management services.
- Assist in launching new products for the group.
- Post trade follow up with counter parties.
Requirements
- Graduate of financial or equivalent certification.
- UAE National.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel's functionality and usage.
- Knowledge of software such as Bloomberg, Reuters and Zawya.
- General understanding of Asset Management and Investment Portfolio's.
- Motivation to learn and challenge the norm.
