QNB Group, the World's Strongest Bank and the leading bank in the Middle East and North Africa, is seeking a Fund Manager for the further expansion of the office in Doha, Qatar.
QNB has witnessed rapid domestic and international expansion over the past few years with 2013 Net Profit of US$2.6 billion and a growth rate of 13.7%.

The total number of staff is almost 13,600 operating from over 590 locations.This exciting opportunity is responsible for the achievement of the set budget targets for the Funds Management Function in compliance with established policies, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

You will ensure the provision of value added products and services to existing/potential clientele who seek portfolio/fund management relationships with the Group and meet/exceed their service expectations. You will maintain the relationships with the existing customer database as well as building new relationships. You will approach key institutions for the purpose of co-creating/co-incepting funds. You will be responsible for the preparation of the strategic and business development plans to achieve the set volume, revenue, and profit targets. You will develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the purpose of performance monitoring, quality measurement.
You will monitor and control the Fund Management' Function's portfolio periodically on overall basis to ensure targets are met, corrective measures implemented on timely basis and to gauge the quality and performance

The successful candidate will be CFA qualified (or at least Level 3) and have a minimum of five years diverse Funds Management experience, of which 3 years must have been in a leading role in a similar department.
