The Role


The Role

Overall portfolio analysis with stress on Funds and Hedge funds through follow up on portfolio strategies set and performance throughout research and due diligence on funds and hedge funds.

Liaise and follow up with Funds/Hedge Funds and report to Assets Committee on findings and recommendations.

Make the necessary researches/studies relating to specific Equities, Funds and Hedge Funds as required by Asset Allocation Committee.

Issue recommendations reports within the guidelines of the Portfolio strategy and submit it to Committee in order to assist in the process of the decision making.

Prepare periodic analytical reports relating to the company’s portfolio.

Participate in executing trades and follow up on portfolio’s positions in order to help in optimizing the return on portfolio.

Liaise with existing third party banks and funds in order to ensure necessary due diligence, evaluation and follow up.

Perform due diligence and propose to Asset Allocation Committee new potential business relationships with funds and hedge funds.

Requirements


Requirements

- Bachelor in economics + MBA

- Knowledge in financial products is a plus

- English is a must, French is a plus

- Mastery in research skills

- Good knowledge of Microsoft office

- User of Bloomberg/Reuters

- Previous experience in financial and operational reporting would be an asset (2 years).
