The RoleThe Role• Handover previous and next operator with consideration for installations running, previous results, specific given instructions and coming events. • Perform glass quality checks, track batch quality parameters, and continuously cares for glass bath, burners and refractories with due respect of control plan and tracking internal compliances. • Complete shift tracking forms on-the-go during the shift, as soon as the controls and furnace inspection rounds are done, with shift major events detailed reporting • Realises first level maintenance work orders with required frequency : cleanings, inspections, …. • Is able to ensure in full autonomy non-auto mode operation of installations, • Warns team leader and reacts in case of failure with possible consequences on production lines, and of course in emergency cases with potential impact on plant people and installations. • Agrees on doing all other tasks that may be required for plant efficient operation. |
RequirementsRequirements• Diploma in the field of Science • >8 years in high pull glass containers furnaces operation. • English spoken, understood, and written. • Familiar with IT tools. • Behaviour skills : calm, autonomy, able to work with minimum supervision. |
