Job description / Role
This client body is one of Dubai’s most prestigious licencing authourities across numerous sectors, who offer employees job security and career progression. Currently they seek candidates for the role of GIS Administrator to apply for a role in their Dubai office.
This individual will be responsible for providing GIS system and user support, GIS data support, managing the development of GIS systems for urban planning, utilities and logistic purposes, mapping of land plots, creating affection plans, mapping of commercial & residential space/underground infrastructure/ground infrastructure/outdoor assets etc.
Requirements
This individual will have minimum 6 years post graduation of Geomatics Degree, with experience working in a similar role in the UAE.
Excellent Arabic and English skills are required as this individual will be responsible for communicating with service providers, government authourities and approval committees.
Technical expertise in GIS programming, AutoCAD and surveying platforms must be at expert level.
Candidates must present well and have a dedicated, committed approach to their work and employer. This will be shown through previous commitment to previous employers.
