The RoleThe RoleShared Services Finance is a department under Group Finance handling the entire back office related to accounting and auditing for Dubai Festival City, Electronics, Engineering & Technologies and the Head Office Companies. SSF handles Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger Accounting, Bank Reconciliations, monthly and annual closing and audits for the above mentioned groups.We are currently looking to recruit an experienced GL Supervisor to be based in our corporate office, in Dubai. In this role you will be responsible for: * Ensuring timely Monthly closing of accounts for all the companies under our purview. * Monthly Review of Trial Balance along with preparation of all GL schedules and Variance Analysis. * Review of intercompany loan balances, investment in subsidiaries and associates and bank reconcilations. * Monthly review and resolving all ICM related cases * Monthly MIS reporting around overhead costs, Â investment report and others * Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecast & 5 yearly Budget. * Uploads of Budget & Actuals in Group Finance tools * Liase with all internal businesses and departments effectively to get the work done. * Ability to manage, motivate and showcase leadership skills for a group of accountants |
RequirementsRequirementsTo be successful in winning this role, you must have the following skills and experience: * A semi-qualified or graduate with strong experience in Accounting & MIS related activities preferably a large organization * Managed a small team of accountants in the past * Effective communication skills |
