Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As the GM/ Head of Department will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to ensure cost effective achievement of objectives. This individual will manage the other members of the department with an aim to achieve the set targets and enhance the future development of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop long term and short term business strategy in line with promoting the organisation’s presence within the Saudi Arabian Market
• Evaluate current sales activities, identify areas of strength and potential growth areas as well as areas for improvement
• Drive future growth of the organization by providing vision and guidance and manage the competitive market dynamics
• Lead and develop a dynamic sales team, establishing their KPI’s and annual goals
• Development relationships, initiate negotiations and cooperate with distributors and dealers
• Participate in recruiting, mentoring and career development of members of the department
• Implement an effective accounts receivable and collections strategy to minimize exposure to loss
• Constant communication, follow –up and tracking of customer and market needs
• Engage and support Marketing activities to drive market strategy and pricing
• Maintain good communication and develop strong practical working relationships with other Heads of Departments with an aim to achieve sales and financial objectives

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience
• 10 – 15 years’ experience in a similar position
• FMCG industry background
• Must have distributor experience – worked closely and managed distributors
• Sales and Marketing experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Arabic speaker would be desirable
