The RoleThe RoleManaging all his resources in an efficient and effective manner for achieving production targets in meat, milk, poultry, forestry and horticultural works, following a predetermined plan and budget. Major Duties & Responsibilities: • Directs all activities pertinent to Produce Farm and Forestry and works for developing and up grading the products • Prepares, submits and discusses the operating budget of business unit with corporate management. • Controls and approves all purchasing requisitions, orders and matters related to produce farm and forestry business units . • Sorts out all administrative, personnel, financial affairs of the unit and evaluates overall performance of his subordinates • Monitors the inputs ordering and execution of the milk production, poultry, horticulture, meat and forestry sections. • Reviews the details of the daily and weekly production reports of each section and takes actions accordingly • Observes and monitors cows management, production affairs, culling approvals and fodder production plans, milk production evaluation, young stock rearing and all affairs related to animal health. • Approves working plans of the business unit and follows up execution. • Follows up latest news on advanced technology and gets use of it. |
RequirementsRequirements• B.Sc. in Agricultural or Veterinary Sciences, preferably with post graduate studies on management. • An in-depth knowledge of this job nature • At least (15) years of experience in related work field • Communication & organizational skills • Team building & motivation skills • High command of English Language • Computer literacy • Applicant should be Sudanese national. • Age should not exceed 50 years. |
