GM – Finance

Job description / Role

Our client, an International Business Services Organisation in Abu Dhabi is looking for a General Manager Finance. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director you will have to head the finance team and have at least 2 years experience in a similar position.

- Participate in strategic and financial planning, consolidate and submit the annual budget & forecasts as required by the JV partners
- Responsible for the P&L on a monthly basis before it is submitted to leadership team
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed financial reports and statements and in charge of reconciliation statements
- Continuous follow-up on contract documentation with legal & operations.
- Ensuring accurate billings and accrued income reduction
- Approval of purchase requisitions & purchase orders
- CAPEZ responsibilities and establish and maintain cash & stock controls
- Authorize changes in SAP to suit the business requirements and to bring efficiencies in the business process.
- Liasing with Auditors
- Attend meetings for submission of tender documents for large tenders and checking the commercials for small tenders.
- Monitor department spending and recommend corrective actions as necessary
- Must liaise with Finance, HSEQ, HR, Purchase, Franchise operators.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years as Head of the Finance Department.
UAE experience required
Chartered Accountancy or equivalent
10 years post qualification experience in the Accounting/ Finance Department
Must have experience managing working capital through follow up on collections and specifically managing the vendor payments.
Must effectively manage the internal & external audit teams
