Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The GSC SAP Materials Management Analyst will be responsible for Level 2 support for our customers, providing sound solution options, configuration and problem resolution to sustain the material management operations within SAP and interconnected systems.

Main Responsibilities for his / her area of expertise
- Second Level end user application and business process support
- Understand Materials Management global business processes and related internal controls and guidelines; working with OFS stores, GT, Materials Management, SLIA and finance groups as needed.
- Understand specific SAP configurations and integration touch points and system constraints for SAP NAM materials management IT solutions.
- Validate and document business process maps for each MM process and MM related interface managed by the SAP IM Application.
- Understand security features of SAP IM and ensure profiles are in line with business functionality.
- Control and streamline business support activities and remedy ticket management for MM related business issues.
- Validate, control and streamline the delivery of SAP IM enhancements, in line with a monthly release plan in ALM, ensuring applicable user testing, training and full knowledge transfer prior to deployment.
- Support ITT and master data teams for the new IT solution for MM processes as required.
- Support users for SAP Syclo mobility solution for Cycle Count process
- Understand and validate reporting requirements in line with global MM process and procedures, automating reporting needs as applicable.
- Coordinate and validate any data migration with the business as applicable ( eg implementation of Lot /expiry tracking & consignment).
- Provide support to the MM users and training team, preparing training documentation as needed.
- Maintain regular status and communication updates on all projects with the applicable business domain teams and NAM & Global Materials Management organizations.
- Ensure full SOX compliance for SAP IM business application.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree
- Desirable: Professional qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science , Operations, Management or a related field
- SAP Certification MM, WM, PP, IM
- ERP: ECC 6.0 versions
- ABAP / IDOC
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in SAP with solid expertise in SAP MM (IM and WM) and knowledge & experience of SAP Syclo or other reputable mobility/ handheld solution.

Key Competencies with SAP for the following domains
- Good knowledge of Accounting and financial reporting skills for inventory management
- Good knowledge of Procurement & Material Management processes
- Good knowledge of Handheld Mobility solutions
- Use of personal computer applications (Word Excel, Powerpoint, e-mail, Web applications, Visio)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Analytical, Problem Solving, Solutioning

- (Desirable) Knowledge of Oilfield terminology, business practices
- Demonstrated achievements of medium/large scale project delivery
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proven analytical skills, including data analysis and interpretation, and the ability to define and implement actionable plans.
- Functional knowledge of business processes related to the enterprise (Materials management and demand planning)
