Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

International brand of high-end home appliances and kitchen fittings looking for Gallery Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate with Gallery team to ensure that products are demonstrated in such a way that the customer is encouraged to upgrade their purchase or/and purchase additional products

• Assist Gallery team in sales and/or technical/sales issues whenever required

• Ensure that Gallery conforms to all legal requirements imposed by authorities

• In-charge of maintaining a clean and organized Gallery

• Ensure that Gallery is staffed at all times with the relevant team members, by managing holidays and sick leaves

• Responsible in managing the Gallery team in terms of performance evaluation and development as well as attendance

• Supervise the use of the Gallery for all types of events, while working closely with Communication and Events Manager as and when required during events in the Gallery

• Monitor Gallery stock level , and request purchases accordingly to avoid shortages

• Identify slow movers and recommend actions accordingly

• Verify all incoming deliveries to the Gallery

• Reports to Regional Sales Manager with sales estimations on an ongoing basis and provide relevant data upon request

• Manage Key Retail Accounts, including but not limited to attending to outside meetings and assisting on their requirements as and when necessary

• Responsible in preparing monthly Sales Report of Gallery

Salary: AED20k p/m + Medical Insurance + Annual ticket to home country

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Knowledge:

• Bachelor degree in marketing, business, or equivalent

• Sales and Marketing

• Computer literacy

• Proficiency in English, (written, read, spoken) and Arabic (an advantage)

Skills:

• Critical Thinking -- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

• Quantitative skills- Ability to prepare and tailor financial models and good mathematical knowledge

• Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times

• Problem Solving - Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

• Management of personnel and material resources - Developing people and seeing appropriate usage of equipment

• Monitoring and follow up - Monitoring/Assessing performance of individuals and operations to take action

• Communication - Ability to interact positively with people conveying clearly ideas when talking to internal / external parties

• Negotiation - Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences

• Persuasion - Persuading others to change their minds or behaviour

• Detail oriented - High focus on details and accurate measures

• Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others

• Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively

Experience:

• 5 to 7 years in relevant experience
