Gas Engineer

Job description / Role

- Develop concept & detailed design for Gas Distribution Systems and detection systems inside buildings.
- Develop concept & detailed design for infrastructure Gas Distribution Networks.
- Manage all the design deliverable from sub-developers.
- Complete review process for gas distribution systems.
- Inspection, Testing & Commissioning tasks of gas systems.
- Coordination with Construction and Operation & Maintenance teams to ensure all system are meeting the local and international requirements.
- Develop the customer connection procedures, method of statements and testing & commissioning plans.
- Ensures the needs of sub-developer are met during the design stage, during construction stage and during the operation and maintenance.

Requirements

- A degree (B.S.) in Engineering or equivalent.
- A professional accreditation is desirable.
- Familiarity with industry practices, local regulations, specifications, international standards and(NFPA & IGEM)
- Good command over English language both oral and written.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail oriented with good analytical skills.
- Hydraulic modeling software experience.
- Advanced level skills with MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge in building gas distribution system design.
