Job description / Role
Our client, a large group of companies, is urgently looking for an experienced General Counsel who will be based in their office in Abu Dhabi. For this role, you will be expected to provide legal counsel across all aspects for the company's matters including, but not limited to, fund formation, investment reviews, HR matters, tax structuring, and investment management agreements. When appropriate, you will utilize and manage outside attorneys and advisors to assist with such legal issues. From time to time, you will also be asked to assist with matters relating to other companies in the group.
This role will be a key addition to company's leadership team.
Requirements
To be considered, you should be a master degree holder in law with minimum 10 years experience both in a law firm and in as an in house legal counsel preferably the Gulf Cooperation Countries with prior experience with structuring and reviewing complex investment partnership documents preferred in the UAE and internationally. Preferably, you should have experience with a top international law firm. You should be knowledgeable in GCC and International Law.
