General Counsel

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client, a private investment firm, Swisslinx Middle East is currently seeking a General Counsel for their office in Abu Dhabi in this role, you will join an international team of professionals and be in charge of all legal aspects on behalf of the company.

Reporting to the CEO, your role will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating of contracts and agreements
- Providing legal guidance to all departments
- Creating standard agreements and contracts
- Managing external counsel as needed
- Acting as the corporate secretary of the company
- Involved in all investment meetings

Requirements

- 6+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally within a leading international law firm
- Experience in financial services, investment field, asset management
- Fluent in both English and Arabic
- Excellent understanding of corporate law
- Degree in Law
- Based in the UAE
