Job description / Role
On charge to organize works and manage work forces of electrical teams, in workshop or on site. Work will be related to electrical breakdown on heavy plants & vehicles, design and building of new site installations electrical network powered by diesel generators, maintenance of offices electrical equipment (water booster pumps, air conditioning units).
Organizing works and managing work force of 3 to 4 teams dispatched between central workshop and site. On charge to design electrical networks,
Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.
Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations.
Repairs and maintains high voltage systems.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must be able to read, write and evaluate blueprints and technical drawings in order to communicate specific orders to his crew.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds preferred.
Perform back-up for assembly line.
Perform periodic check and review each team member’s performance.
Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
Order required tools and machinery to perform required duties by self and team.
