Job description / Role
On charge to organize works and manage work forces of welder teams, in workshop or on site. Works will be related to repair on heavy earthmoving equipment, manufacturing and building of steel structures for site installations and maintenance, manufacturing / modifications / repairs on formworks for concrete structures.
Organizing works and managing work force of 3 to 4 teams dispatched between central workshop and site. Able to read and study manufacturing drawing, to schedule, for its section works, steel products and welding materials needs according to works ongoing or requested to write and submit for approval purchase request, to advise on quality of welding material to be used and welding process, to "do it by himself" if necessary to teach/trained his guys in case of lack of skills from them. He will assist mechanical engineer for recruitment of welders and testing.
Requirements
General education in welding process (electrical and gas), cutting process(gas, plasma), blachsmithing & sheet metal works. Should have been qualified welder for various welding process.
Excelent knowldge of welding process, welding products, steels products. Able to determine the suitable welding materialmatching with the base material of the component to weld on it, to repair and to define the welding procedure.
Good level in English and communication skills to communicate easily in multicultural environment.
Around 10 years of experience in such multiple, various welding, fabrication works, preferably on some major construction site. Already experience in a multicultural environment and in managing teams will be appreciable.
