The RoleThe RoleA Major International Automobile distributor with operations across the Middle East, with undisputed leadership globally and locally with exclusive franchises for the world’s top automobiles are expanding rapidly across the region. Our client are currently seeking to recruit a number of General Managers for various projects across Iraq. The main purpose of the role will be to ensure the sustainable growth of the business and to ensure daily operations run smoothly, with regards to the built environment, show rooms and warehouses, new service divisions. One would work closely with the franchise CFO, Head of Operations, Head of Sales as well as engineers. One should be able to track and monitor the franchises performance, ensure productivity, oversee HR matters, recruit when required. One must be able to support various distributors. Ensure the companies vision is clear and adhered too and to grow the business strategically. Preferably one should have a Degree, however non essential. A solid consistent background in the automobile industry is essential. One should have proven experience in overseeing a dealership and willing to reside in Iraq and the ability to manage every sector within a franchise. One should possess integrity as a businessperson and experience working with the reputable Mercedes franchise or Scania would be preferable. Current location is open, however one must be driven to succeed in a challenging market. This is a fantastic unique career opportunity. |
