The RoleThe RoleOur client is a large international commercial property developer who are looking for a General Manager to oversee a major real estate project in Tripoli, Libya. The primary function would be managing the day to day office and administrative operations, and providing support and oversight to the development and technical team. The General Manager will report to the Board of Directors and be responsible for maintaining and building business relationships in Libya. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and experience in business, finance and administration, with a related degree, to manage our office in Libya. With the project under construction and a team already operating, this role needs someone experienced in managing all functions through oversight of department heads. |
RequirementsRequirements- The ideal candidate will come from Civil Engineering background with strong strategic and commercial orientation. - Minimum 20 years of solid experience in major organizations (Client Focused). - Currently working as General Manager ideally for a leading property development and real estate company in the MENA regions. - Have broad international experience in client side project management on mega construction projects, property development, real estate, sales & marketing and business development with regional and international exposures. - Strengths in team building and leadership, business development, communication and change management. Proactive and innovative with the drive to achieve results in difficult operating environments. - Well connected in Gulf, Middle East and African regions. |
