The RoleThe RoleJob objectives To lead, plan, organize, develop, direct, supervise, and control the activities of the Batching Plant within the corporate guidelines of profitability, leadership, growth, and discipline with direct responsibility for "Profit and Loss" results & development in correlation with the EVP directives. Tasks and duties 1. Take responsibility for the profitability of company 2. Develop and plan ambitious yearly budgets and relevant forecasts on sound economic and market factors and ensure such factors are met in the most cost efficient manners. 3. Remain abreast of market conditions/trends and direct action towards capitalizing on prevailing opportunities and implement adequate actions to combat threats 4. Ensure quality level and standardized delivery of products, materials and services to client(s). 5. Supervise the activities of the assigned personnel and exercise administrative and financial authority as defined by the corporate management body stated in the Policies & Procedures. 6. Vigorously participate in the marketing and sales activities according to predetermined set of objectives, strategies and action plans. 7. Maintain viable and healthy relation with strategic accounts and business partners. 8. Ensure that equipment maintenance, costs, durability and usability is being done with minimal depreciation. 9. Co-ordinate with purchasing centers to ensure cost efficient, timely, effective acquisition of merchandise that answers market needs. |
RequirementsRequirementsWork Experience required • A minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in handling productions, sales, trouble shooting of Concrete Batching Plants. • International or GCC experience is desirable Education and Skills required • Bachelor Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineer with First Class or Honors from a Recognized University • Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy (Word, Excel,Power Point, Microsoft Mgt) • Strong English language skills • Age; 35 to 45 years with commanding personality • Strong planning and budgetary skills. • Awareness of quality control • High Degree of commercial acumen |
