Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager for a very busy, very large exhibition centre.
Reporting to the Director of Operations & leading the entire team in the Centre, the role is responsible for the health of the business; including driving business, guest relations & ensuring guest satisfaction.

Requirements

The desired candidate will have a minimum of 10 years conference & exhibition experience with at least 5 of those as management. A very strong knowledge of operations as well as business development, financial planning & management and strategic planning is required for this role as is a keen eye for detail & restaurant operations knowledge.
Fluency in English is essential as are effective communication skills, leadership & integrity. The ability to be flexible & lead from the front are highly desired. Experience in the Middle East is preferable but not vital.
