The Role


The Role


Our client a well established and progressive group of companies dealing in diverse businesses in the the UAE and in the GCC has an immediate requirement for highly accomplished General Manager fast moving consumer goods (FMCG)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Prepare, plan and develop strategic business objectives for the company and be responsible for their implementation in conjunction with the joint venture partner

*Establish 360 degree key performance indicators (KPIs) for the success of the business, and to be accountable for the company's performance against these metrics

*Responsible for the company's profit and loss account, to control revenues and manage costs accordingly.

*Establishing product ranges, developing international supplier relationships, and the effective marketing and retailing of products.

*Be the company's representative and key point of contact in discussions with JV partner(s)

*Coach, lead, motivate and develop an operational and multi-functional team of direct reports

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

*Graduate degree in a related field
*Minimum 5 years experience in a general management role with specific experience in a developed and mature retailing environment within the automobile accessories and car servicing industry.
*Western European, American, Australian or South African retailing experience is essential.
*Previous experience and exposure to doing business within the Middle East would be an advantage.
*The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with both excellent business and people management skills.
*Should have strong commercial / financial acumen and have the enthusiasm to drive and develop the business in both local and regional markets.

Salary: AED up to 50,000/-
Other Benefits: Annual Ticket + Medical + Performance related bonus discretional
