Client: Market leader in HVAC products and services

Conceptualise and lead KSA operation in overall by following company policies, guidelines and goals communicated by the group.

Manage P&L and balance sheet performance. Drive overall profitability and build sources of growth and value creation in line with pre-set targets.

The General Manager should be able to design a successful sales strategy & increasing sales force team in line with potential increase in turnover and he should be able to manage the overall product management and business development function of the all product lines with focus on sustained and profitable growth of the products (focused on maximising business value).

- The GM is responsible for ensuring that new product introduced into local and regional markets.
- The GM is responsible for product planning, business development and marketing.
- The GM should have a strong network with 3 different groups: Project Owners (i.e. ministries and Gov. Entities), Project Engineering Consultants and Contractors.
- GM will manage and lead a team of Sales Engineers focussed on sales of Air-conditioning products such as Split, Package Units, Fan coil units, Air handling units, Chillers etc.
- The job also includes providing technical support to the sales engineers team throughout the selling cycle. i.e. prepare technical pre qualification materials, present product and materials to parties involved in the selling cycle.
- GM should gain a deep understanding of alternative competitive products & Competitors, customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate value, messaging and positioning that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth and profitability.
- GM will be in charge of providing needed support to engineering consultants during initial phases and pre-bidding phase.
- Grow revenue from each client and build a balanced portfolio of clients across industries and geographies to de-risk revenue growth
- Identify and develop new markets and client opportunities
- Track competitors and their strategies and build on the Company's market share in each product
- Ensure all Sales Managers/Representatives have a full understanding of product application and are well rounded in all aspects of our business.
- Ensure all needs to customer are met to their satisfaction. Work with Sales Managers & Representatives to efficiently resolve any outstanding issues customers may have.
- Prepare and review marketing programs.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to sales associates and customers.

Requirements

- Solid experience and proven track record in registering, qualifying and approving products with engineering consultants, contractors and project owners.
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in the Saudi market as a GM in any industry that sells to the same market and follow the same cycle.
- Proven ability to develop product sales and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its life cycle.
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products (must provide sample of an effective document delivered in the past)
- Proven ability to work effectively and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Project management skills
- Must be able to travel 30% of the time (This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites)
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, MBA is a plus
- Post Graduate in Marketing/Business Administration will be an added advantage.
- Working Knowledge of product management soft wares is a plus
