Job description / Role
Our client, a Middle East based Islamic Bank is looking for a General Manager of Hospitality and Spa Club to join their expanding team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all operations at the Recreation Club facilities and activities.
Responsibilities:
• Promote, establish and maintains excellent customer relationship and build effective working relationships with all staff.
• Coordinate, promote, implement and evaluate recreation programs, activities and projects.
• Control and account for the expenditure of funds in accordance with the approved budget.
• Communicate official plans, policies, and procedures to staff and the general public.
• Plan, organize, lead and control the work of professionals and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and legal requirements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, though a Master’s Degree will be an advantage.
• At least 10 to 15 years of experience in the hospitality and recreation field with at least 5 years in similar capacity in the GCC.
• Must be within 35 to 45 years and possess good business acumen.
• Excellent IT skills and fluent in English.
