Job description / Role
Charterhouse is representing a regional holding group that is looking to hire an experienced General Manager to lead the expansion of its Iron and Steel branch. Our client is a leader in the construction and engineering sector and is working on iconic projects across the GCC and North Africa.
The General Manager will be responsible for increasing steel production, as well as securing business and investment opportunities in the UAE. Other responsibilities will include recruitment and procurement as well as organisation and budget planning.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have at least 20 years experience in the steel industry of which 10 should have been in the role of General Manager. You should also have a proven track record of strong sales leadership within the GCC.
