General Manager - Leisure Venue

Job description / Role

Our client, one of the leading Hospitality Management companies in the UAE is due to open their doors to their newest and most exciting High End, Leisure Venue, early 2015. With the Premium Venue set to be a popular choice for people across the region, my client is looking to recruit an experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of the venue.

The role of General Manager is a comprehensive one including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Manage the launch/opening of the venue
- Manage the team, hold regular performance reviews, recruit strong, new team members
- Liaise with the landlords to ensure all requirements are met and no violations are in place
- Regularly report to Senior Management
- Cash Management Managed the overall turnover of the venue
- Work closely with department heads on menu design and product offerings
- Ensure the venue is marketed correctly and work with group Marketing team to ensure the target guests are reached

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Management of a High End/5 star venue/restaurant
- Excellent F&B Management Experience
- Strong communication skills
- Employee Management skills
- Pre-Opening Venue Experience
