General Manager UAE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position as a General Manager for a leading multinational

lighting company, developing their operations in the United Arab Emirates.

This company is a recognized and experienced name within the international lighting industry. With

strong results will come bonus incentives as well as opportunities for advancement within the company

structure.

The General Manager will ideally possess a strong sales background, extensive experience in the retail

lighting industry and a strong background working in the United Arab Emirates market.

Responsibilities:
Develop new business and establish distribution partners
Capability of interpreting different requirements and suggesting correct lighting solutions
Interacting with consultant, interior designers, architects & clients
P&L responsibility
General management responsibilities
Should have the ability to lead a team of young engineers
Developing a long term relationship with the customer/distributor through managing their demands

and requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:
8+ years of experience in the electrical/lighting industry
Previous senior management experience
Experience catering to supply of electrical / lighting products etc.
Experience of large scale projects would be an added advantage.
Previous experience working in the Middle East
A strong commercial focus
